Code One's Tactical Medicine programs trains first responders on how to respond to violent emergencies such as explosions, shootings, and stabbings. These emergencies often result in catastrophic injury that may need to be managed in a hazardous environment. Participants in this program learn to manage violent injuries using tourniquets and hemostatic agents and techniques to remove injured people from these dangerous situations to an area where injuries can be further assessed and managed.
